Idaho Gas Prices Continue to Fall, Now Averaging $3.35 Per Gallon

Idaho drivers are seeing continued relief at the pump, with the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline dropping to $3.35 today, according to the latest data.

The current statewide average is five cents lower than last week and 14 cents less than a month ago, though still six cents higher than this time last year. Idaho has also moved down in national rankings, now holding the 8th spot for the most expensive fuel. For comparison, gas prices in neighboring states are significantly higher: Washington ($4.29), Nevada ($3.89), Oregon ($3.88), Utah ($3.19), Montana ($3.02), and Wyoming ($2.92). Lower gas prices can have a positive impact on consumer spending as the holiday season approaches.

“Crude oil and gasoline supplies both took a tumble this week, so gas prices could slow their descent or even reverse course a bit this week,” said Matthew Conde, AAA Idaho public affairs director. The West Texas Intermediate benchmark for crude oil is currently trading near $61 per barrel, roughly the same as a week and a month ago, but nearly $10 less than a year ago. The Energy Information Administration reported a decrease of six million barrels in U.S. gasoline stocks and nearly seven million barrels in crude oil reserves. You can find more information about current energy data on the EIA website.

As of today, November 3, 2025, gas prices vary across Idaho cities, with Boise averaging $3.39 per gallon, Coeur d’Alene at $3.28, Franklin at $3.22, Idaho Falls at $3.23, Lewiston at $3.19, Pocatello at $3.29, Rexburg at $3.25, and Twin Falls at $3.36. Officials will continue to monitor supply levels and global market conditions to assess the potential for further price fluctuations in the coming weeks.
