Kai Trump to Make LPGA Debut at The Annika Next Month
President Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, will make her professional debut on the LPGA Tour next month at The Annika tournament in Belleair, Florida.
The 18-year-old, a senior at The Benjamin School and University of Miami commit, received a sponsor exemption to compete in the event, scheduled for November 13-16 at Pelican Golf Club. Currently ranked No. 461 in the American Junior Golf Association Girls ranking, this marks a significant step in her golfing career as she prepares to join the Hurricanes in 2026.
“My dream has been to compete with the best in the world on the LPGA Tour,” Trump said in a statement. “This event will be an incredible experience. I look forward [to] meeting and competing against so many of my heroes and mentors in golf as I make my LPGA Tour debut.” The LPGA noted that Trump’s substantial social media following – exceeding six million across platforms – aligns with their goal of attracting new audiences to the sport, particularly younger fans.
