WACO, Texas — The Minnesota State football team has climbed three spots to #8 in the latest edition of the AFCA Poll.
The Mavericks improved three spots in the poll after their 38-14 win over Northwest Missouri State last week at Blakeslee Stadium.
MSU is one of two NSIC teams ranked in the top-25. Augustana improved to 20th in the poll after defeating Missouri Western 30-26 last weekend. Minnesota Duluth, Bemidji State and Sioux Falls are receiving votes.
Minnesota State continues its season at home on Saturday as it hosts the Minot State Beavers. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at Blakeslee Stadium.
