Bancamiga, in partnership with Movi, has launched Movi by Bancamiga, a new application designed to modernize payment and collection processes for urban transportation in Venezuela. The app enables users and transport providers to digitally and contactlessly handle fares.
Currently available on major mobile app stores, Movi by Bancamiga aims to provide easy access for users, initially focusing on urban routes in the Greater Caracas area, with plans for nationwide expansion. This move reflects a broader trend toward digital payment solutions in the region.
The new system is intended to modernize Venezuela’s land transportation system, increasing efficiency and security for both passengers and operators.
How to Pay with Movi by Bancamiga
- Enter your details in Movi.
- Select your destination in the “Where are you going?” option.
- Tap the yellow icon to activate the QR code scanner for the transport provider.
- Press “Accept” to complete the transaction.
