One Seriously Injured in Columbus Shooting; Suspect Detained

One person is in critical condition following a shooting in the Franklinton neighborhood of west Columbus today.

Columbus police responded to a report of a shooting in the 70 block of Stevens Avenue around 7:30 a.m. on November 9, 2025. Authorities confirmed that one individual was transported to Grant Medical Center with serious injuries. The incident occurred in a residential area, raising concerns among local residents.

According to police, one person is currently detained in connection with the shooting. The circumstances that led to the gunfire remain under investigation.
