Wilmington, NC to Host Annual Veterans Parade This Saturday
Downtown Wilmington will honor the service and sacrifice of military personnel with its annual Southeast North Carolina Veterans Parade this Saturday, November 8, 2025.
The event begins with a pre-show at 10 a.m. in front of Thalian Hall on North 3rd Street, with the parade itself commencing at 11 a.m. The procession will travel from Hanover Street to Market Street, featuring military units, local high school marching bands, veteran organizations, classic military vehicles, and honored guests. This parade provides a vital opportunity to publicly thank those who have served our country.
Alongside the parade, a Veterans Celebration and Information Fair will connect veterans and their families with local resources and support programs. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to secure viewing spots along North 3rd Street, especially near Market Street where the parade will conclude. For those seeking further information about veteran benefits, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website offers comprehensive details.
Organizers anticipate a large turnout and encourage attendees to show their support for the veteran community. You can find more details about the event here.
Officials stated they look forward to a moving tribute to the region’s veterans and active-duty service members.
