Reports indicate a significant fire erupted at an oil depot near Simferopol in Crimea, following a strike in the area, according to the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind.” Photos and videos circulating online show a large-scale blaze at the facility.
Air defense systems were reportedly activated and explosions were heard in other cities across the Crimean Peninsula, including Feodosia, Saky, Dzhankoi, and Sevastopol. Activity was also reported near the Hvardiyske airbase, located near Simferopol. The strikes come as Ukraine continues efforts to dislodge Russian forces from occupied territories.
Petr Andryushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, reported via his Telegram channel that air defenses were engaged in Donetsk, and a power outage occurred in Melitopol.
Within Russia itself, the Telegram channel Supernova+ reported strikes on a power station in Smolensk and an oil depot in Uryupinsk, in the Volgograd region. Fires broke out at both locations, with other sources confirming the incidents.

Also on Saturday, Russia attacked a civilian vessel in the Black Sea carrying Ukrainian sunflower oil bound for Egypt, reports indicate. The ship was crewed by Turkish nationals.
