Xiaomi 17 Smartphone to Feature 100W HyperCharger, Included Protective Case
The upcoming Xiaomi 17 smartphone will ship with a 100-watt HyperCharger and a transparent hard protective case, according to information released today, November 1, 2025, at 21:37:00.
The HyperCharger, capable of delivering up to 100 watts (20V, 5A), weighs approximately 3.7 ounces and will be paired with a USB Type-C cable. Notably, Xiaomi continues to include a traditional Type-A to Type-C cable, a decision that diverges from competitors like Samsung who have adopted USB-C to USB-C configurations. This choice may require users to utilize adapters with newer laptops lacking Type-A ports.
Alongside the power adapter, the Xiaomi 17 package will include a lightweight, transparent hard case weighing around 0.5 ounces. This case is designed to protect the device while maintaining visibility of the phone’s original color.
