‘Stranger Things’ Final Season Activation to Close Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles

A four-mile stretch of Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles will be closed to vehicles this Sunday, November 23, for a free, immersive fan experience celebrating the upcoming final season of Netflix’s Stranger Things, which begins streaming on November 26.

Sponsored by Netflix and CicLAvia, the “One Last Ride” event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., encouraging attendees to dress in 1980s attire or Stranger Things-inspired costumes. The activation will feature fan games, giveaways, live entertainment, merchandise sales, and photo opportunities. Organizers have partnered with local bike shop JustRideLa to offer a limited number of complimentary bicycles on a first-come, first-served basis, with helmets required for anyone under 18 riding bikes, skateboards, scooters, or skates.

Participants are encouraged to collect a quest book from one of three hubs located along Melrose Avenue – between Vermont and Berendo, Plymouth and Windsor, and Genesee and Fairfax – to navigate trivia stops, special offers at local businesses, and hidden surprises. This event is part of a larger marketing push for the final season, signaling the end of a cultural phenomenon that captivated audiences worldwide.

A similar “One Last Ride” event is also scheduled to take place in Chicago today. Event organizers stated that further details and updates will be posted on the official event website.
