Compact Android Gaming Device Features 4.2-Inch Display

The AYANEO Pocket Air Mini is an Android-based gaming device powered by a MediaTek Helio G90T processor. Weighing in at 269 grams, it boasts a 4.2-inch display designed to deliver a pixel-perfect retro gaming experience on the go.

The device’s 4:3 aspect ratio display eliminates screen stretching and black bars, allowing players to enjoy classic games in their original, intended format. This focus on authentic presentation caters to the growing demand for faithful retro gaming experiences. AYANEO emphasizes the portability of the device, making it ideal for gaming on commutes or in cafes.

The Pocket Air Mini also features a highly precise and customizable controller. Its RGB-lit, hall-effect medium joystick is designed to minimize drift and dead zones, while a dedicated app allows for full button mapping and sensitivity adjustments.

The device is powered by a 4,500mAh battery and includes a USB Type-C port for video output, a microSD card slot (supporting up to 1TB), and stereo speakers. An efficient cooling system with a high-speed fan is also incorporated to manage temperatures.

The domestically distributed version of the AYANEO Pocket Air Mini includes AYANEO’s global warranty, as well as a one-year warranty provided by the Japanese distributor, Tenkuu Group. The company states that repairs will be possible in Japan even after the initial warranty period expires.

Key specifications for the AYANEO Pocket Air Mini include Android 11 as the operating system, a 4.2-inch LCD display (1,280×960 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate), one USB 2.0 Type-C port, one microSD card slot (up to 1TB), one 3.5mm headphone jack, and dimensions of approximately 165.9 x 82.5 x 18.7-27.6mm.
