Nintendo Releases New Trailer for Kirby Air Riders
Nintendo today released a new seven-minute overview trailer for Kirby Air Riders, showcasing gameplay and features for the upcoming vehicle action game.
The trailer, currently available in Japanese, provides a comprehensive look at the title’s content ahead of its November 20, 2025 release date. Kirby Air Riders features fast-paced arena battles and races where players choose from a roster of riders – including Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Magolor – and a variety of machines like the Warp Star and Wheelie Bike. Players can utilize a “Boost Charge” system for strategic dashes and can even acquire Copy Abilities from opponents to gain an advantage.
The game emphasizes skillful drifting and boost management, with machines handling differently and each rider possessing unique stats and special abilities. This marks a significant departure for the Kirby franchise, venturing into a more competitive, vehicle-based action genre. For more on Nintendo’s upcoming releases, see the official Nintendo website.
Nintendo previously demonstrated Kirby Air Riders extensively across multiple Nintendo Direct presentations, totaling nearly two hours of footage, but this new trailer offers a more concise overview. Fans anticipating the Nintendo Switch 2 will be watching to see how this title performs on current hardware.
An English version of the overview trailer is expected to be released shortly, according to Nintendo officials.
