Egyptian singer Essam Sasa is facing a challenging period both personally and professionally. Egyptian singer Essam Sasa responded to a post from his ex-wife announcing their recent split, stating via his Instagram story that he holds no ill will towards her. I have never seen anything bad from this woman, only kindness, and she was never in the wrong regarding me. Earlier today, November 19, 2025, Jihad Ahmed, the wife of Egyptian singer Essam Sasa, announced their separation on her Instagram account, writing, “Praise be to God for everything. The separation between me and Abu Rahim is complete.”


Meanwhile, a legal matter is also unfolding for Sasa. The Economic Court has scheduled a hearing for January 6, 2026, to begin proceedings in a case alleging that Sasa appropriated the melody of Sherine Abdel Wahab’s song “Bali” without permission.
