Major Game Releases This Week Include Dragon Quest, Tales of Xillia Remasters

A wave of new and remastered video games arrived today, October 27, 2025, spanning multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, offering a diverse range of experiences for gamers.

Highlights include the Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, now available on Xbox Series X/S and PC, and Tales of Xillia Remastered for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Also launching are Majogami for Switch 2 and PC, and highly anticipated sequels like The Outer Worlds 2 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Other notable releases include Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, Silly Polly Beast, and Stray Children, all available on multiple platforms. The influx of new titles comes as the gaming industry prepares for the holiday season, a critical period for sales and player engagement.
