Dubai Holding Launches $230,000 Accelerator for Circular Economy Startups

Dubai Holding has today announced the launch of its “Innovate For Tomorrow” impact program, a global accelerator offering a total prize pool of AED 850,000 (approximately USD 230,000) to startups and scale-ups focused on circular economy solutions.

The 2025 edition of the program, which opens for applications on October 6th and closes on November 25th, will prioritize ventures addressing challenges in food loss and waste, resource recovery & regeneration, and digital innovation for sustainability. Selected participants will undergo a 12-week hybrid accelerator program – combining virtual sessions with in-person workshops in Dubai – and gain access to mentorship, investor connections, and potential pilot funding within the Dubai Holding ecosystem. This initiative aims to bolster innovation in sustainable practices and contribute to a more resource-efficient future.

Eligibility requires a functional prototype or Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with early customer validation or pre-seed/seed funding, and a commitment from at least one founder to participate full-time. African MSMEs and start-ups are particularly encouraged to apply, offering a valuable opportunity to tap into the UAE’s growing investment landscape. Successful applicants will also receive access to over 250 discounted tech platforms and, for top scale-ups, one year of access to the in5 incubator. Further details and application guidance can be found on the Innovate For Tomorrow website.

The accelerator will run from January to April 2026, culminating in a Demo Day and the initiation of pilot implementation phases in May 2026. Officials stated that the program seeks to identify and support ventures with the potential to drive significant environmental and economic impact through innovative circular economy models, as detailed by the Government of Dubai Media Office.
